Ever since I’ve been pairing Hocchan x Shizuka I have been pairing the characters which they voiced in the same anime together. I know it’s impossible but still… LOL me! XDDDD Mahou Sensei Negima for example. Misa x Makie… It’s never gonna happen though but still it was fun seeing their characters when they get beside each other. XDDDD
Also, what a coincidence that Shizuka’s character’s name there was “Misa” . XD
I also tried looking for them together in a pic. No luck at all though. XDDD I wish one would appear.
I know what you mean! Unfortunately, I haven’t watched any other series with Horie and Shizuka together. D:
(I plan on watching Negima for KonoSetsu sometime in the future, but imagining crack pairings based on characters they voice will be an added bonus.)
I think the reason they never appear in the same series unless it has a huge cast (like Negima and Saki) is because they both voice well-bred, somewhat ojou-sama characters, so there’s a bit of casting conflict. And Horie tends toward voicing more moe characters than Shizuka. Spoilers may follow: Uuuu! Uuuu!, uguu~, hau hau auuu~, etc.
And! I think it’s really fun pretending other characters that Horie voiced are Mihoko, even when their personalities are completely different. =)
lol I see I see! I watched Negima for KonoSetsu, but definitely it was fun seeing crack pairings like the characters voiced by our beloved Hocchan x Shizuka-sama. XDD I tell it definitely made my Negima viewing experience reaaaally fun!
I think I’ll just not watch the videos for now as I will watch them when the right time comes. ^^

YOU KNOW WHAT!? You read my mind there!!!!! I actually can’t stop laughing whenever I put Mihoko into Haruka’s role! Imagine what she is when she’s a drunkard, lolicon and it definitely cracks you up! XDDDD
I think I actually watched one or two episodes of Negima before, but I put it on hold for some reason or another. I think it’d be fun to get back into again; there are so many seiyuu that it seems impossible not to find several I like (including, of course, Horie and Shizuka <3!).
Oh, and okay, sure thing about the videos. I wasn't sure if you were spoiler-sensitive or not. =) But I think the point is Horie voices really cute characters most of the time. =D She's actually pretty cute in behind-the-scenes "the making of" videos too. I still have trouble thinking of her as thirty-something. (But then, she's seventeen forever after all.)
Haha, I know, it's so hilarious thinking of Mihoko as a drunkard. =D Or, rather, try imagining her singing the school swimsuit or pool song. Side-splittingly hilarious.
